Rent Subsidy Program

This program provides emergency financial assistance to those facing eviction or hardship to remain in their home.

Open to all residents of Kitimat.  Clients must be complete an application process and be referred to our program by Housing Outreach Workers through the Kitimat Community Development Centre or Tamitik Status of Women.  Assistance is determined on a case by case basis and clients must provide 3 months of bank statements as part of the eligibility assessment.
