The Community Corner offers literacy support, learning opportunities, immigration settlement assistance and ESL tutoring to adults 19 years of age or older. Services are offered through one to one tutoring with volunteers, outreach and community based learning initiatives and small group settings.

Through Settlement Outreach department KCSS connects newcomer immigrants and refugees with Permanent Resident (PR) status to a full range of local community-based and social services in Kitimat. We assist clients by identifying their needs and providing information to a variety of resources that are specially catered to them.
ESL classes are offered from September through June three times a week.
Drop-In English Practice Groups are offered Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
