The Kitimat Youth Centre is a drop-in social/recreational program for youth between the ages of 13 and 18. KYC features a youth-driven, safe environment with recreational activities, opportunities for learning skills, volunteer leadership programs and field trips.

Regular in-house activities include:
Pool games/tournaments
Board games
X-box games
Movie nights
Music jamming
Internet access
Crafts

Volunteers are needed for this program. If you are an adult over 21 years of age that has a couple of hours/week to spare, please give us a call. The phone number for KYC is 632-8974 and we are located at Riverlodge, 660 Columbia.



KYC is funded by The District of Kitimat and gratefully acknowledges financial support from The Aluminum City Telethon as well as numerous donations from the residents of Kitimat.
